The Marians of the Immaculate Conception and Their Mission

Pro Christo Et Ecclesia

In the more than 330 years since their founding in 1673 in Poland, the Marians of the Immaculate Conception, a Roman Catholic religious community of priests and brothers, have been quietly serving the needs of the Church — at times, in the midst of history's most tumultuous events.

Since their arrival in the United States more than 60 years ago, the Marians have been instrumental in spreading the message and devotion of The Divine Mercy as revealed to the world by our Lord through St. Maria Faustina Kowalska. The Marians are the exclusive publisher of the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska in both English and Spanish. Under the publishing name "Marian Press," the Marians publish the Dairy and many other books, pamphlets, and materials that teach The Divine Mercy message and devotion, and devotions to Mary, the Immaculate.

To assist in the spreading of the message of God's mercy, the Marians began a spiritual benefit society named the Association of Marian Helpers. In 60 years, the Association has grown to more than 400,000 members and has become instrumental in assisting the Marians in accomplishing their good works around the world and at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy.

Today, the Marians of the Immaculate Conception number over 600 priests and brothers in over 18 countries. The Marians support the Holy Father and embrace the official teachings of the Catholic Church in their special calling to:
